Howdy folks! A big ol’ thanks to all who came to listen to some old country classics and filled up on the Bean Palace’s delicious pulled pork lunch during the Mill’s Labor Day Celebration! It was big fun! For those who weren’t able to join us, no worries, I took plenty of pictures and video! We always have special monthly happenings at the Mill, so make sure to stop in some time soon and say hi!
Rogers, Arkansas native, Ronny Gibbons, brought his guitar and cowboy boots and sang up a storm of old country classics in the Bean Palace Restaurant. His soothing low voice echoed through out the Mill and relaxed folks as they shopped and filled up on tasty food.
I shot a video of my favorite song of Ronny’s… It’s called the “Red Building” and its all about the Mill, its beautiful water wheel, and all the flour and cornmeal it grinds for visitos. Give it a listen!
But wait, there’s more! I had to take one more short video of Ronny singing some cowboy tunes and smoothly strumming his guitar. I couldn’t help but hum along!
So many smiling faces, full bellies and kids dancing to Ronny’s beats. It was a great Labor Day celebration to end the summer and send kids back to school. We hope you all come to visit again soon!
