Old World Bread

Hands on Time: 30 minutes
Baking Time: 45 minutes
Total Time: 12-36 hours including rise time!
Yield: 2 medium or 1 large loaf

This bread can take 2-3 days to make , is very crusty and close textured with a wonderful whole grain flavor. While baking in the oven the loaves rise like footballs!

Quick French Bread

Hands on Time: 10 minutes
Baking Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour including rise time
Yield: 1 large loaf or 2 small loaves

Preparation and baking time for this bread is a little over one hour!

Ranch Style Bean Bread

Hands on Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 40-45 minutes
Total Time: 2 1/2 hours
Yield: 2 small or 1 large loaf

The beans add a very nice aroma and texture as well as extra protein to this bread!

Crunchy Whole Grain Loaf

Hands on Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 40-45 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours 15 minutes including rise time
Yield: 2 loaves

This loaf is similar to the bread developed by Cornell University during World War II. Cornell realized that it was not enough to restore chemically to bleached flour for its lost nutrients, vitamins and minerals but that whole, unprocessed grains contain the nutritional value.

Almost White Bread

Hands on Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 2-1/2/ hours including rise time
Yield: 2 medium loaves

This is a very lowfat, light and slightly wheaty bread.

Barley Bread

Hands on Time: 15-20 minutes
Baking Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours including rise time
Yield: 1 large loaf

Chocked full of barley and hearty good taste. Hulled barley has more fiber than pearled because the bran is intact.

Buckwheat Bread

Hands on Time: 15-20 minutes
Baking Time: 35-40 minutes
Total Time: 3 hours including rise time
Yield: 2 medium loaves

Buckwheat is a hearty, satisfying grain with a nutty flavor. Very nutritious!

Italian-French Bread or Breadsticks

Hands on Time: 20-30 minutes
Baking Time: 35 for loaves 15-20 for breadsticks
Total Time: 2 1/2 -3 hours including rise time
Yield: 2 medium or 1 large loaf or 48 breadsticks

A beautiful rustic loaf with a crispy, chewy crust or crispy breadsticks.

Cracked Wheat Flax Soy Bread

Hands on Time: 20 minutes
Baking Time: 35 minutes.
Total Time: 2 1/2-3 hours including rise time
Yield: 1 large loaf

Multi grain, dense and delicious!

Oat Bran Batter Bread

Hands on Time: 15-20 minutes
Baking Time: 30-40 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours including rise time
Yield: 2 small loaves or 1 large loaf
