Easy Apple Cornmeal Crisp
- 2 cans Apple Pie Filling
- ½ cup War Eagle Mill Organic White Cornmeal
- ¾ cup War Eagle Mill Organic Whole White Wheat Flour
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¾ cup chopped nuts
- Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
- Pour apple pie filling into an oiled 2 quart baking dish.
- In a separate bowl combine softened butter with cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and nuts until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over apple mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
