Easy Apple Cornmeal Crisp

This easy apple cornmeal crisp uses fresh, crisp apples and a crumbly mixture of cornmeal and oats, achieving a delightful balance of sweetness and crunch that's perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cans Apple Pie Filling
  • ½ cup War Eagle Mill Organic White Cornmeal
  • ¾ cup War Eagle Mill Organic Whole White Wheat Flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup chopped nuts


  • Preheat oven to 375 degree F.
  • Pour apple pie filling into an oiled 2 quart baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl combine softened butter with cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and nuts until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
