Ingredients

The Bread

  • cups War Eagle Mill Unbleached All Purpose Flour sifted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp allspice
  • cups eggnog
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp rum extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3.4- oz box dry vanilla instant pudding mix

The Glaze

  • ¼ tsp butter extract
  • 1/8 tsp allspice
  • 3-4 tbsp eggnog
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted

Instructions

The Bread

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×5 loaf pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl add eggnog, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, rum extract, and butter.
  • Use a stand mixer or hand mixer on medium and mix together for 2 minutes.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, add organic sifted flour, baking powder, pudding mix, allspice, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  • On a low mixing speed, slowly add the dry to the wet mixture. Combine until there are no flour streaks.
  • Carefully pour mixture into a sprayed loaf pan and bake for 55 to 65 minutes.
  • You will know its done when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Once the bread is finished cooking, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 20-25 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the cooled bread from the loaf pan and plate on your favorite platter.

The Glaze

  • Add butter extract, allspice, eggnog, and powdered sugar to a mixing bowl. Whisk until combined.
  • Pour the glaze over the top of the bread and enjoy.
