Our flour comes to you the War Eagle way – stone ground slow to preserve all the nutrients and the deep, rich taste. Our farmers are committed to maintaining a natural, organic and Non-GMO environment for growing grain and work hand-in-hand with us to shorten the time between the field, the milling process and your table.  Since 1832 to today, we remain committed to you and your family’s health. You are our first priority.

The War Eagle Team is a gaggle of dedicated humans who care about quality. We strive to give individuals and families the best we have to offer. Organic, natural and Non-GMO are our favorite words.

War Eagle Mill’s history begins with the story of a tenacious pioneer couple, Sylvanus and Catherine Blackburn, and continues through the commitment of another tenacious soul, Elise Roenigk.  In honor of her late husband, Marty, whose vision was to offer natural, organic products that emphasize the importance of nourishing the lives of families, Elise guides the Mill today.

Meet Millie

A bit wiser, with a streak of gray hair and a sharp wit, Millie is back. For two years, Millie served as our resident foodie. Ready to test her taste buds, she took off traveling the country. Lucky for us, she missed the Mill and is back in full force with her new Daily Grind Blog. Watch her pop up on our recipe page, announce contests, introduce new features, entice you with sales and give away goodies. When Millie speaks, we all listen.
